About Me
After graduating high school as a 12x varsity athlete, I ran a few road races from the mile up to half marathon. Not sure what I wanted to do with my life besides run, I worked odd end jobs to support my running obsession. Then in 2014, my sister showed me some crazy Rainshadow Running trail race. I ran my first trail race, the Rainshadow Running Beacon Rock 25K. Being a novice, I ran it like a road race and didn't understand the fundamentals of the sport, but I finished and had never felt so much satisfaction. I officially got bitten by the trail running bug.
Later that summer of 2014, I signed up for a local ultramarathon, the PCT Bunker to Bonneville 50K (first ultra) and won. Ever since then I have run ultras (ranging from 50K to 120miles). There have been injuries, personal records, highs and lows along the way but my love for running has remained a constant through it all. It keeps me sane, it is my ‘me’ time, it brings me strength, hope and I sure love those post-run endorphins.
I now live the mountains of Colorado and enjoy trail running with everyone. Message me on Instagram: @anthonyclee94 if you want to run or scramble.
